It is summer time now, and it is ugly hot outside.  Every air-conditioner is a runnin’ and every electric meter is just a spinnin’.  Cooling our homes is one of our biggest expenses in life here in Florida.  Compare your electric bill from April with the one from August.  That is what I am talking about.  Think how much money you could save if you could lower that August bill back down to that April bill.  And money saved is money that can used other ways: pay down a bill, improve your home, even saved for a rainy day!

Walkable Communities is the latest development in neighborhood planning.  Neighborhoods that are designed to make walking and bicycling easy are often the most expensive and desirable.  Home owners appreciate the quiet and old time feel these neighborhoods have.  The village of Seaside in the panhandle or Celebration by Disney are both excellent examples of the idea.
