Well, another local business in the area is closing. The B. Dalton store at the Eagle Ridge mall will be closing it's doors closing after the New Year. They are offering 40% off all their stock while it lasts. It is a sad day. |

We had a pleasant surprise today, something was broken! We put our Ford Explorer in at Troutt Tire in Bartow for repair. The right wheel bearings were giving up the fight. The check engine light was also warning us the EGR valve was not working right. EGR is Engine Gas Recirculation. It takes exhaust gas and recirculates it through the engiine for cleaner emissions. None of this was a surprise for a vehicle with more than 150K miles. |

This past Thursday, I got to go skeet shooting for the first time in years. I used to be a member of the Imperial Polk Gun Club by Recker Highway and Spirit Lake road. Then I got a job where I worked a lot of nights and life was just busy, then the Kid came along and life just got hectic. Earlier this week, my friend Dale asked my wife if I could come out and play with the guys. She said “Please Do” and I was off! |

Boy, I feel better. It was a stressful June, and my wife decided to get me a massage for Father’s Day. She is so sweet! If you never had a massage before, it can take a bit to get used to. It is strange having a strange woman rubbing all over your body. Trust me, it is worth the effort to get used to it. |
